Mike brings experience in the fields of corrections defense, intellectual property, taxation, government contracts, criminal defense, insurance coverage, land use, and municipal liability to the firm. In his work with the corrections defense team, Mike handles complex class action and multi-party cases. Mike also uses his expertise in managing e-discovery to support the firm.
Mike currently serves on the Board of the Maricopa County Association of Paralegals. At the request of the National Association of Legal Assistants, he wrote “A Matter of Trust: The Key to Becoming Indispensable and Getting the Work You Want,” for publication in the January-February 2015 issue of Facts & Findings.
Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Mary Washington. From 2000 to 2005, he took a hiatus from his legal career and became a certified teacher, educating hundreds of students in public speaking, argumentation, and economics at Baltimore City College in Maryland.
