Mike brings experience in the fields of corrections defense, intellectual property, taxation, government contracts, criminal defense, insurance coverage, land use, and municipal liability to the firm. Mike is proud to support the public safety sector, and specializes in supporting and managing e-discovery processes and supporting litigation technology needs for the firm, in addition to handling class actions and complex claims.

Mike’s experience and knowledge is documented through his certification by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) as a Certified Paralegal and Advance Certified Paralegal in both Discovery and E-Discovery.  In addition, he holds a credential as a California Advanced Specialist – Discovery awarded by the Commission for Certification of California Paralegals.   Mike is an active member of NALA, the Arizona Paralegal Association, and the San Diego Paralegal Associations.  At the request of the NALA, he wrote “A Matter of Trust: The Key to Becoming Indispensable and Getting the Work You Want” which appeared in the January-February 2015 issue of Facts & Findings.

Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Mary Washington. From 2000 to 2005, he took a hiatus from his legal career and became a certified teacher, educating hundreds of students in public speaking, argumentation, and economics at Baltimore City College in Maryland.
