Kevin Nguyen is an attorney in the firm’s appellate practice group. His practice focuses on appellate litigation and strategic counseling, with an emphasis on defending government entities and employees and their private partners, particularly when they are involved in 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and Bivens litigation. In addition to preparing appellate briefs and motions in state and federal court, Kevin assists at trial by drafting dispositive motions and assisting with strategy development.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin clerked for Judges Randall M. Howe, Patrick Irvine, and Margaret Downie at the Arizona Court of Appeals. While at the Court of Appeals, he worked on more than 200 cases and prepared over 100 memorandum decisions and opinions in civil and criminal appeals and special actions.

Kevin is fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, and Vietnamese. He enjoys scuba diving, playing basketball, and watching football.
