Prior to joining the firm, Courtney worked for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Protective Services Section of the Child and Family Division. In her role as an Assistant Attorney General, Courtney represented the Department of Child Safety in juvenile dependency, termination, guardianship, and adoption matters. Courtney litigated multiple bench trials involving the termination of parental rights to unfit parents. Upon passing the Arizona Bar Exam in October 2019, Courtney clerked for the Honorable D. Steven Williams at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.
